FASFA NIGHT AT EASTERN

Experts from INvestEd will discuss key steps in the financial aid process and then help create FSA IDs too. Join us to move forward in your college funding plan with confidence while avoiding common mistakes.

Seniors and their parents are encouraged to come and learn about the changes to the FAFSA this year. The Indiana legislature now requires every senior to file the FAFSA this year.  Mark this date on your calendar.

Eastern High School: January 13th  at 6:00pm

These are open to you and your families. I am hoping to have a FASFA night as well here at Eastern, but the date is TBD. So if you can go to one of these it would be very beneficial. 

FAFSA Update and HELP:

The FASFA projection open date: December 1 : Federal Student Aid Website

Deadline to fill out FASFA for Indiana is April 15th. 

Below is the information you will need for the FASFA:

  • Social Security number

  • Driver’s license number

  • 2022 W-2 forms

  • 2022 federal income tax returns

  • Bank statements

  • Alien registration number (if you are not a U.S. citizen)

  • Federal Student Aid ID (which can be obtained before the application process.  

This information is needed for the parent (where student resides 51% of time) and senior.
